NavimaQ uses floating windows to display vital navigation information. These windows can also be made semi-transparent so you can see more detail below them. The user allways has the ability to hide or turn off these windows.

The overview window allows you to see the whole chart and provides a indicator of how much of the chart is displated. The window is also "active" and allows you to change the area displayed in the main chart window by simply clicking on an area.

The coordinates window displays important Navigation information.

The Open chart window displays the list of available charts on your computer. You can choose the location of your charts on your computer via this window.

The Open chart Window will also provide the user with an overview image of the selected chart. This is useful if you are trying to pick a chart for a peticular area.

To help minimize the number of charts in the list you can change the "Show Charts containing" drop-down from All to vessel position. This will list shorten your list of charts to only those that contain your position.

NavimaQ also allows you to create waypoints that can be used as a route as shown here.
